Opening movie

Where the story begins

A quiet threat steals into a peaceful kingdom.
A thirty-second prologue — until the creatures of the forest rise.

※ From the opening movie. Actual gameplay differs.

How to play

Open the forest. Then protect it.

Spend mana to open the closed forest and carve out paths. Protect the Komorebi Stone and send every intruder back to the woods. The rules are simple — but where you open changes everything.

The opening screen — a closed forest and your mana budget
01

Open the forest

It all starts with a closed forest. Spend mana to open it, and the cleared ground becomes the path your enemies will walk. Open rich soil, and the forest's spirits — the Ibuki — wake to join you.

02

Hide the Komorebi Stone

Place the Komorebi Stone somewhere along the paths you've opened. The farther it sits from the entrance, the better hidden it is — harder for enemies to find, and easier for you to defend.

Meeting the incoming enemies with Flowers, Roots and forest friends
03

Fight them off

Enemies slip in from the entrance, hunting the stone. Meet them with Flowers, Roots, and the Ibuki you've woken — send them all back to the forest before the stone is carried away, and the day is yours.

The game

Gentle, unhurried.
A strategy of guarding the forest.

Open the forest with mana, and keep the Komorebi Stone safe. Step in anytime in real time, yet never feel rushed — think it through one move at a time.

Open the forest Open

Spend mana to open the closed woods and shape the terrain. The ground you clear is the very road your enemies will march. The battle begins with the map itself.

Wake the Ibuki Awaken

Open rich soil and the forest's spirits awaken. Pair them with Flowers and Roots — where you place things decides the shape of your defense.

Room to think Tactics

Your mana is a fixed budget. A single move can turn the tide — calm, puzzle-like strategy with no rush.

Five forests to journey Journey

Every spirit you meet joins your encyclopedia. From the Sunlit Grove to the frost-glittering depths, five forests each with their own face.

Forest friends
